Can you go in reverse on a motorway?

View explanation

All vehicles, except priority vehicles in which it is allowed in some cases, are prohibited from driving in reverse on dual carriageways and motorways, no matter the reason you may need to do it. You must always drive forwards, and if you miss your exit, you should get off at the next one.
