Does a type B permit authorize driving a 3000 kg MAM truck towing a light trailer?
A type B driving permit authorizes driving of automotive vehicles with a MAM of less than 3500 kilograms and fewer than 9 seats including the driver's. These vehicles can be hooked up to a trailer with a MAM of less than 750 kg, so long as the combined MAM is less than 4250 kg. In this case, since the towing vehicle weighs less than 3500 kg and the trailer is a light trailer (less than 750 kg), it can be driven with a type B permit.
