May a load on a roof rack overhang the sides of a car?
When a load is transported in a passenger car, it may not overhang from the sides or the front of the vehicle, and may only protrude from the rear.
If the load is of the indivisible type, the load may protrude from the rear of the vehicle up to 15% of the total length of the vehicle. If, on the other hand, the load is divisible, it may protrude only 10% of the total length of the vehicle.
