The circulation of motor vehicles and mopeds with free exhaust, broken exhaust silencer or without an explosion silencer device, shall be prohibited both on urban and interurban roads.
It shall also be prohibited when the gases expelled by the engine, instead of passing through an effective muffler, exit from the engine through a defective, inadequate or deteriorated one, or through resonator pipes.
