May a vehicle reverse if it wants to make a stop?

Explanation

As a general rule, driving in reverse in your vehicle is prohibited except as a complementary maneuver to some other maneuver, such as stopping, parking or incorporating into traffic. Although it is allowed to reverse to make a stop, you should always use the utmost caution when doing it and not go farther than 15 meters in reverse.
