May the van park in double row to unload?
Double parking is prohibited because it can obstruct traffic and create a risk for other road users.
However, this must not be confused with a brief stop for loading or unloading. A stop may be allowed only if it lasts less than two minutes, the driver does not leave the vehicle and there is no suitable loading area nearby.
If the van remains in double row for longer, blocks traffic or the driver leaves the vehicle, it is considered parking, and that is not allowed.
For a DGT-style test question, the key difference is: stopping briefly may be permitted under strict conditions, but double parking is prohibited.
