Must you signal a load protruding from the rear part of a passenger car?

Explanation
Whenever you load your vehicle with cargo that overhangs from the back, it must be signaled so that the other road users can see it using a 50 by 50 centimeter panel with alternating red and white diagonal stripes, placed on the end of the load. This panel must be used when driving during the day and in conditions of good visibility, with the addition of a red light when driving at night.
