When are U-turns prohibited?

Explanation

The Traffic Regulations prohibit making a U-turn at level crossings, in tunnels, underpasses and sections of road affected by the "Tunnel" sign (S-5), as well as on freeways and expressways, except in places authorized for this purpose and, in general, in all sections of the road where it may create a danger or be an obstacle for other road users.

Neither shall it be possible to make a U-turn on those stretches of road where overtaking is forbidden, unless the change of direction is expressly authorized.
